Yes, it’s dancing and games and good conversation and interesting people at two different venues, one after the other, all with a classical mythology theme! Grizzy’s Cafe and the Diversionarium are throwing a joint Classical Mythology event this Thursday, July 12th.

(Those of you who have been following closely will notice that this is a reschedule of an event we tried to run in June, but unfortunately Second Life was especially glitchy that day and the games weren’t running properly.)

Come as you are, or in a toga, or as a minotaur or satyr, or as your favorite Greek or Roman god or goddess. There are free togas at the Roma sim (just search places for Roma) and free and cheap mythological avatars at the Grendel’s Children store if you want to get dressed up without going broke! Eris is coming as Athena, I’m coming as Artemis, and Grizzy has a very interesting avatar to show off. 🙂

The evening starts with dancing at Grizzy’s Cafe at 6:00 SLT Thursday, then moves over to The Diversionarium for mythology-themed social games at 7:00.

And yes, we do plan to have the new and much easier-to-use Avisleuth ready!
